Her Story

ColourUP™

The Heart Behind the Red Lipstick Campaign™

This started with one swipe.

One swipe of red lipstick—on the lips of a girl finding her voice.
One bold color that said: “I’m here. I’m worthy. I matter.”
That was January 2016. And we’ve never looked back.

A Legacy in Every Shade

The Red Lipstick Campaign™ was born in the pages of Love Girls Magazine, where Robyn Ryan™—Jamaican-born model, creative, and visionary—used red lipstick as a creative call to action. It wasn’t just about beauty. It was about bravery. And it quickly became a movement.

With every card designed, every editorial spread created, every photo shoot styled, one thing became clear:
Red wasn’t just a color. It was a declaration.

  • We raised money for survivors.
  • We hosted makeovers that restored confidence.
  • We showed up in schools, at shelters, at studios, and on stages—with one mission: To help girls and women see themselves again.

From Red Carpet™ to Pineapple Pop™

Red Carpet™ was the first lipstick we launched—a deep, unapologetic red that became our signature. That shade carried stories. That shade built sisterhood. That shade helped fund photo shoots, gifts for women in crisis, and community events with purpose.

Now, the story continues with Pineapple Pop™—a juicy, bold yellow that turns pink on the lips. She’s playful. She’s unexpected. She’s powerful in her own way.

And now?
100% of the proceeds from both signature shades go back into the campaign.
We fund mentorship programs, beauty education, modeling workshops, and fashion shows with real impact. We’ve supported survivors of breast cancer and domestic violence, and we’ve never stopped showing up.

From Survivors to Students. From Models to Mentors.

We’ve mentored teens and uplifted elders. We’ve taught modeling not just as performance—but as posture. We’ve hosted red carpet events and quiet moments of healing behind the scenes.

This is more than a brand.
This is an ecosystem:
Lipstick → Education → Expression → Impact

We believe that when you help a woman feel seen, she shows up differently in the world.
And when she shows up, she brings others with her.

We’re Still Writing This Story

We’ve served other causes. Now we serve our own—because The Red Lipstick Campaign™ is the cause.

As we approach our 10-year milestone, we’re expanding.
From Iowa to Jamaica. From lipsticks to legacy.
And from one bold girl’s dream… to a global movement.

So when you swipe Red Carpet™, or wear Pineapple Pop™—know this:
You’re not just wearing lipstick.
You’re joining a revolution in full color.
